In these difficult times every penny counts, so making sure that your property is in the right Council Tax banding is crucial.
All over England, Councils are paying back money to hard-working households who have been overcharged for years because they have been placed in too high a banding.
Making sure that you are in the right banding will save you money on your Council Tax Payments in the future but even better, you could get a refund on any overpayments you have made every year - going back to 1991!
The amount you pay for your Council Tax depends on your Council Tax Banding. These bands range from A (the cheapest property)
to H (the most expensive property). The band you are currently in is determined by the Council's valuation of your property.
The last assessment was last done in 1991 - often by a valuer just driving past your property and is widely recognised to have led to massive inaccuracies and injustices.
Of course, the Council will rarely, if ever, tell you that you are overpaying without asking, it is up to you to do the investigations and then make the claim yourself!
This is where we come in.
You have 3 options to see if you can claim back £000s of Council Tax Overpayments
Option 1 - £250 Fee and you keep all of any refund
Option 2 - £50 Fee and you keep 75% of any refund
Option 3 - No Win No Fee and you keep 60% of any refund
You choose whichever option suits you and your individual circumstances. Under all three options we will undertake an initial investigation on your behalf to see if you can make a Council Tax refund claim. Whatever the outcome, where there is a fee, this is non-refundable.
The best bit though is that you keep 100% of any future savings as well!
